TRAININGS
As part of its policy of educating both the public and its staff and
members, the Women’s Council for Domestic and Family Violence Services (WCDFVS)
conducts frequent trainings, workshops and forums. These are
geared to the needs of the sector being targeted. All of this material
is accessible through our website with some being also available for

Opening Closets Training

TIME: 9.00am-4.00pm
Venue: WA Aids Council, 664 Murray Street, West Perth
In partnership with the Gay and Lesbian Community Services of WA, the WCDFVS had held a One-Day Training.
Opening Closets is a one-day training workshop for service providers to increase their understanding of the needs of clients with diverse sexuality or gender.

Domestic Violence Legal Training
Date: 25 March 2011
Time: 9.00am – 12.30pm
Venue: City West Lotteries House, 2 Delhi Street, West Perth
This training had developed in partnership with the Legal Aid Western Australia, Domestic Violence Legal Unit (DVLU). The training opportunity was especially for New Workers and those who have not attended any prior training in this area, and it assisted in:
